Extinction is a choice.

Some of the things that make Australia truly special are being put at risk because our national nature laws don’t work—and haven’t worked for decades. Australia is facing a wildlife extinction crisis.

These laws have continued to allow the destruction of threatened species habitats. They have failed to protect places with world heritage natural and cultural values. They haven’t given the community a meaningful say in environmental decisions that affect them and will affect their children and grandchildren.

But extinction is a choice.

Together, we’re here for nature, and protecting Australia’s amazing ecosystems on land and sea. It’s vital that our new federal government is too.
