The Kimberley is one of Australia’s last great areas of wilderness. But it’s under threat from big business looking to carve up land for its own profits. Deforestation remains a huge issue in Western Australia.

The lease holder of Yakka Munga Pastoral Station, Shanghai Zenith, has been ordered to revegetate the clearing of all 120 hectares of land it cleared without permit.

This is great news and testament to the community lobbying the Government for effective action.
