Imagine New South Wales without koalas. Without action on deforestation, that’s where we’re headed.

Despite being on the State and Federal threatened species lists, koala rates are plummeting. Koalas die because of loss and degradation of their habitat, and such destruction is escalating in NSW. Dear Premier Berejiklian,

I call on you to urgently end the deforestation crisis by making potential koala habitat, threatened species habitat, and other high-conservation-value areas off limits to clearing, and by repealing the land clearing codes.

I also urge you to invest in a restoration and conservation fund and deliver the world-class mapping, monitoring, and reporting the community expects.
