Victoria's wildlife were teetering on the brink of extinction before last summer’s bushfires; now, their plight is worse than ever because logging continues in their forest habitat. A Major Event Review must be triggered without delay to protect the unburnt habitat of these unique animals.

Please write to Ministers Ley and Duniam today—it is their responsibility and obligation to consider the impact of logging and care for Australia’s threatened species. Together, we can make sure a Major Event Review is triggered and the places we love and the animals that call them home have the best chance of being protected. And elsewhere in Australia, a provision for Major Event Reviews must be added to all RFAs, and initiated now for regions with bushfire affected forests and wildlife.
