The Home Tree, in the Florentine Valley, is 5.4 metres wide—one of six giant trees in coupe TN005D that are due to be logged this summer by Sustainable Timber Tasmania.

On 25 October, Tasmanians added their handprints to a pledge to #SaveHomeTree and protect this forest. 

You can too, virtually. When you sign your name, we’ll add your virtual handprint to the real Pledge and deliver it all to Tasmania’s Premier—and Minister for Climate Change—Peter Gutwein, with the clear message: leave High Conservation Value forests for nature and the climate.
